Occupational Therapist – Hillingdon Granges Network

Are you looking for an employer who offers growth, development, and a friendly multidisciplinary team in a rewarding education setting?

Do you value opportunities to:

  • Participate in research projects and special interest groups?
  • Be part of a national occupational therapy network with regular training sessions?
  • Work flexibly and creatively to provide specialist assessments and interventions fostering independence?
  • Contribute to upholding a ‘Great Place to Work’ culture, already recognised for six consecutive years?

About the Role

You will join a dynamic, in-house clinical team in a supportive environment to deliver bespoke Occupational Therapy (OT) assessment and intervention for pupils who have experienced developmental trauma, neurodivergence (such as autism), or SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Holding your own OT caseload within Upton Grange (Hillingdon Granges cohort, comprising Yiewsley, Colne, and Upton Grange schools), with occasional support requests across the network.
  • Collaborating with educational teams, multi-disciplinary colleagues (e.g., speech & language therapy, psychology), and professional bodies like the HCPC (Health and Care Professions Council) and RCOT (Royal College of Occupational Therapists).
  • Designing and implementing individualised OT plans aligned with person-centred goals and OFG’s standards under guidance from a clinical supervisor.
  • Tailoring sensory-informed and active interventions to enhance wellbeing, independence, and engagement within a 学习 (learning) environment.
  • Participating in training and staff consultations, aligning with a wider commitment to Continuing Professional Development (CPD).
  • Effective report writing to inform personnel, parents, and governing bodies.

The role suits a resilient, creative, and passionate OT with a mission to champion progressive positive change for neurodivergent or stressed young people’s lives and learning journeys.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
