Band 7 Occupational Therapist – Neuro Rehabilitation
Location: Kent
Job Type: Locum
Band: 7
Pay Rate: £45 per hour
The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Occupational Therapist to work within a specialist Neuro Rehabilitation service in Kent. This locum opportunity is based at a Brain Injury Rehabilitation and Neurological Care Centre, supporting adults with acquired brain injuries, neurological conditions, and complex rehabilitation needs.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention, helping individuals maximize independence, develop functional skills, and achieve meaningful rehabilitation outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist neurorehabilitation caseload.
- Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop and deliver individualized treatment programmes.
- Support rehabilitation, discharge planning, and goal setting.
- Work collaboratively with the wider multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
- Deliver evidence-based, patient-centred care.

Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience within neurorehabilitation or neurological services.
- Experience working at Band 7 level or equivalent.
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Ability to work independently within a specialist setting.
