Exciting Opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Band 5 Occupational Therapist with an interest in Mental health, community services and recovery to join our dynamic Occupational Therapy team in the diverse and vibrant boroughs of Hammersmith & Fulham.

About the Role

Following The Principles Laid Out In The Community Mental Health Framework For Adults And Older Adults (2019), The Mental Health Integrated Network Team (MINT) Has Been Developed To Provide An Innovative, Person Centred Set Of Interventions Focused On Individual Needs. The Post Holder Will Be Delivering The Following:

  • Managing a caseload of client-centred occupational therapy interventions to service users with varied and sometimes complex needs, within the MINT Team, alongside multi-disciplinary team members and the occupational therapy team
  • Actively developing and implementing a framework of care, which reflects a holistic approach to service user needs, and the seven pillars of clinical governance.
  • Working under the supervision of a senior or clinical lead occupational therapist, applying clinical skills in occupational therapy assessment, treatment planning, intervention and evaluation, for both individual and group orientated approaches.
