Are you passionate about supporting adults to live independently and achieve what matters most to them?

If you are committed to empowering individuals, promoting independence, and delivering high-quality, person-centred support then we would love to hear from you!

Our Adult Social Care Reablement Service is seeking committed, compassionate, and skilled professionals to join our team working across Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a forward-thinking service that places people at the centre of everything we do.

We are recruiting six Occupational Therapists (Grade 8). These opportunities are embedded within our reablement offer, applying strengths-based approaches and functional interventions to support people to “do for themselves” and achieve sustainable, independent outcomes. These roles form part of our ongoing service development, and successful candidates will join a supportive and innovative environment where professional development is actively encouraged, and your contribution will have a meaningful impact.

If you are ready to make your next career move and interested in a managerial role, please look at our Occupational Therapist Lead advert.

About The Team/service

Our team plays a key role in supporting adults across Gloucestershire who have care and support needs as a result of illness, disability, or changing life circumstances.

You will work across a range of settings, including community-based teams, locality services, hospital discharge pathways, and specialist services, supporting individuals to overcome barriers and maintain independence in their daily lives.

Our approach focuses on working in partnership with individuals to understand their goals and priorities, enabling them to achieve outcomes through practical interventions and effective support. Practice is underpinned by key legislative frameworks, including the Care Act, the Mental Capacity Act, and the Human Rights Act, ensuring that the rights, wishes, and autonomy of individuals remain central to all decision-making.

This is a dynamic and evolving service, with a strong emphasis on collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.

If you share our values and are committed to delivering high-quality Occupational Therapy that promotes independence, dignity, and positive outcomes, we will welcome your application.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
