Occupational Therapist

Dee View Court Neurological Care Centre is a specialist neurological service in Aberdeen, providing expert neurorehabilitation and long term care for 44 residents with complex needs. The home offers a clinically led yet homely environment, where a skilled multidisciplinary team supports individuals with brain injuries and neurological conditions to maximise independence, wellbeing and quality of life.

Occupational Therapist

£34,278 to £38,638 per annum (dependent on experience) 37.5 hours per week over 5 days, including one weekend in four Paid PVG, pension, uniform provided Onsite parking 5.6 weeks annual leave (based on a full time contract) Ongoing training and professional development

Role Overview

As an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver person centred assessments and develop evidence based treatment programmes to support residents with complex neurological needs. You will play a key role in promoting independence, functional ability and overall wellbeing through therapeutic intervention.

You will manage your own caseload, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to plan, implement and review care and rehabilitation goals. Your work will support residents to achieve meaningful outcomes, using both clinical expertise and creative approaches to therapy.

You will contribute to the ongoing development of the service, supporting best practice and maintaining high standards of care. You may also provide guidance and supervision to colleagues, helping to strengthen the wider team.

What We Are Looking For

Diploma or BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy HCPC registration Strong clinical reasoning and understanding of OT assessments and interventions Good communication and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team Knowledge of relevant legislation and safeguarding practices Experience in neurorehabilitation or complex care is desirable but not essential
