Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Neuro
Location: Cambridgeshire
Job Type: Locum
Band: 6
Pay Rate: £38 per hour
The Role
My client are looking for a dedicated Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join its specialist neurological rehabilitation service in Cambridgeshire. This locum opportunity is ideal for an Occupational Therapist with experience in neurorehabilitation who is passionate about supporting individuals to maximise their independence and quality of life.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will assess, plan and deliver evidence-based occupational therapy interventions for adults with a range of neurological conditions in an inpatient rehabilitation setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist neurological caseload.
- Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
- Support patients with rehabilitation, functional independence, and discharge planning.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Deliver patient-centred care in line with HCPC and professional standards.

Requirements
- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Previous experience working within neurological rehabilitation.
- Excellent assessment and clinical reasoning skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- NHS experience is desirable.
