Occupational Therapist | Elderly Care & Rehabilitation Salary: £43,500 per annum Location: Worthing, West Sussex Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

About the Role Compass Associates are proud to be partnering with a highly regarded not-for-profit healthcare provider in the search for an Occupational Therapist to join their specialist care service in Worthing.

This is an excellent opportunity for a HCPC-registered Occupational Therapist looking to make a genuine difference within an elderly care and rehabilitation setting. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will support residents to maximise their independence, improve functional ability and enhance their overall quality of life.

You will carry out comprehensive assessments, develop person-centred intervention plans and provide practical guidance to both residents and staff to ensure the highest standards of care and rehabilitation are delivered.

Key Responsibilities Deliver occupational therapy assessments and personalised intervention plans. Support residents to maximise independence through rehabilitation and enablement. Work closely with Physiotherapists and the wider multidisciplinary team. Train and support care staff to implement therapy recommendations. Complete risk assessments relating to daily living activities and independence. Advise on therapy equipment and environmental adaptations. Liaise with community services and external healthcare professionals. Contribute to audits, service development and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy. Current HCPC registration. Experience working with older adults and/or individuals with physical disabilities or cognitive impairments. Strong communication, organisational and clinical reasoning skills. Passion for delivering high-quality person-centred care.

Desirable: Experience within elderly care, rehabilitation, care homes or community settings. Knowledge of dementia care and falls prevention.
