Occupation Therapist at Priory Hospital Glasgow

Priory Hospital Glasgow is a leading inpatient treatment centre in the UK, specialising in mental health conditions and addictions. We provide evidence-based care for:

  • Treatment of depression
  • Alcohol rehab
  • Drug rehab

Key Responsibilities

As an Occupational Therapist, your role will include:

  • Assessing the needs of patients and delivering high-quality, person-centred therapy to improve mental, emotional, physical, and social well-being.
  • Working collaboratively with:
    • Service users
    • Families and carers
    • Multidisciplinary teams
  • Developing and implementing tailored therapy programmes to help patients achieve personal goals and regain independence.
  • Responding promptly to new referrals, conducting comprehensive assessments, and designing evidence-based treatment plans.
  • Regularly reviewing and adjusting therapeutic interventions to optimise patient outcomes.

Essential Requirements

  • Degree qualification in Occupational Therapy (accepted degree types: MSc pre-registration or BSc)
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)
