Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Neuro Inpatient

The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join a specialist Neuro Inpatient service in Worcester. This is an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist with an interest in neurological rehabilitation to work within a multidisciplinary team supporting patients with complex neurological conditions.
You will be responsible for assessing, planning and delivering high-quality occupational therapy interventions, helping patients maximise their independence and achieve their rehabilitation goals within an inpatient setting.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage a specialist neuro inpatient caseload.
- Complete comprehensive occupational therapy assessments.
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans.
- Support rehabilitation, functional independence and discharge planning.
- Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and reports.
- Deliver patient-centred care in line with HCPC and professional standards.

- HCPC registered Occupational Therapist.
- Experience working within neurological rehabilitation or inpatient services.
- Strong clinical reasoning and assessment skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
