Occupational Therapist
Band 6 Occupational Therapist – Assistive Technology Location: Rochester Role Type: Permanent Salary: £45,000+
The Role Cpl UK Healthcare are currently recruiting for a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to join an Assistive Technology service in Rochester.
Details The role involves providing specialist clinical advice and support relating to community equipment and assistive technology services. You will work collaboratively with health and social care professionals to promote independence, maximise equipment effectiveness, and support service delivery.
Responsibilities Provide specialist advice on assistive technology and community equipment Complete clinical assessments and recommendations for equipment provision Support cost-effective and appropriate equipment use Review special orders and promote equipment reuse where appropriate Deliver training and demonstrations to staff and stakeholders Work collaboratively with referrers, commissioners, and multidisciplinary teams Maintain accurate clinical documentation and service records

Requirements HCPC registration Experience within occupational therapy, ideally in community equipment or assistive technology services Strong understanding of functional assessment and equipment provision Ability to work independently and provide clinical leadership where required Good IT and communication skills
