Registered Nurse – Nurse Functional Assessor (Cardiff)
Location: Cardiff Salary: £38,000–£49,000 Contract: Full-Time / Part-Time

About the Role
Position: Registered Nurse, Nurse Practitioner, or Registered Mental Health Nurse

You’ll contribute to enhancing clinical practice through feedback and fostering business improvement.
Key Duties
- Deliver clinical reviews and PIP referrals assessments via telephone, video, or face-to-face.
- Assess customers to understand the impact of disability or health conditions on their daily lives (including chronic pain and mental health).
- Generate Work Capability Assessment (WCA) reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP).
- Grow your expertise with structured training, mentorship, and regular feedback/supervision.

Requirements
✅ Must hold a valid Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC) registration. ✅ 1+ years post-registration experience in:
- Adult nursing
- Mental health nursing (Prioritised: specialised chronic pain/behavioural health skills.)
✅ Confirmed right to work in the UK (no sponsorship available).
✅ Proficiency in:
- Clear verbal/written communication.
- Detailed report-writing (using software e.g.UKConnect/Compass).
✅ Adaptability to remote and hybrid (homworking/hybrid) arrangements.
