This vacancy is only available to current UWE Students who have completed their second year and are going into their third year.

UWE Bristol’s Learning and Development Centre has a fantastic opportunity for a Sandwich Placement Student, where you can work and learn in the staff training centre of a large and complex organisation.

The position is ideal for any students wanting to gain practical admin knowledge, basic event management experience in a busy operating environment and insight into Organisational Development and Learning for staff at the University.

About You

You will:

  • Be a second-year undergraduate student at UWE, about to enter your third year.
  • Be able to demonstrate commitment to learning a range of different skills.
  • Have a flexible approach to managing workload in a busy office environment.
  • Be able to communicate in a clear, constructive and positive manner.
  • Have an interest in Organisational Design and Learning principles and practical application.

We are hoping interviews can take place on 20th August at our Frenchay Campus, or online interviews can be accommodated if you are not in Bristol.

This is a full time fixed-term post for 10 months, working 37 hours per week.

This post is not available on a job share basis.

Salary offers are made in line with the University’s salary assessment guidelines, reflecting your relevant skills and experience in parity with colleagues.
