Odoo Functional Consultant
We are looking for an experienced Odoo Functional Consultant to join our team on a project-based engagement model. Based primarily in London, UK, you will act as a trusted functional expert throughout the complete Odoo implementation lifecycle—from pre-sales discovery and solution demonstrations to implementation, user training, go-live, and post-implementation support.
This is a client-facing role with a strong commercial focus. You will work closely with our sales and technical teams to understand client requirements, demonstrate Odoo capabilities, recommend best-fit solutions, and ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate combines deep functional expertise with excellent communication skills and the ability to confidently engage with business owners, operational teams, and senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Conduct business requirement gathering and process analysis workshops with clients.
- Lead pre-sales discovery sessions and deliver compelling remote and on-site Odoo demonstrations.
- Analyze business processes and recommend best-practice Odoo solutions.
- Configure Odoo modules based on business requirements.
- Prepare functional specifications, business process documentation, and user stories.
- Collaborate with technical consultants and developers to deliver customized solutions.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validate functional deliverables.
- Provide end-user training and create user documentation.
- Support data migration, go-live activities, and post-implementation support.
- Manage multiple implementation projects while ensuring quality and timely delivery.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle.
- Advise clients on business process optimization and digital transformation using Odoo.
- Work closely with project managers to ensure successful project execution.

Education
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Odoo Functional Certification (Minimum Version 17).
- Version 19 Certification will be considered a strong advantage.
Experience
- 2+ years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant.
- Hands-on experience with Odoo V16, V17, V18 & V19 (Enterprise & Community).
- Proven experience in end-to-end Odoo ERP implementations, pre-sales, and client-facing consulting.
Employment Type
- Project-Based / Contract
- Engagement is on an as-needed basis. Consultants will be assigned to active client projects and engaged based on project requirements. This is not a full-time employment opportunity.
- Hybrid (London-based) with travel to client locations as required.

Must Have
- Minimum Odoo V17 Functional Certification (V19 Certification preferred).
- Hands-on experience with Odoo V16, V17, V18, and V19 (Enterprise & Community).
- Strong pre-sales, solution consulting, and client-facing experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct live product demonstrations for business and executive stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of ERP implementation methodology and business process mapping.
- Experience managing multiple client engagements simultaneously.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel across the UK for client meetings and project engagements when required.
- Native or near-native English communication and presentation skills, with the ability to confidently engage with UK business stakeholders.
Candidates must have the legal right to live and work in the UK. This role is open only to applicants with valid UK residency and work authorization. Visa sponsorship is not available.
