As an Anaesthetic/Scrub Nurse or Theatre Practitioner (ODP) at our Exeter hospital, you will be a Registered Nurse (RGN) or Operating Department Practitioner (ODP), maintaining registration with the NMC or HCPC. You will bring:
- A commitment to high standards
- Meticulous attention to detail
- Post-registration experience
- A passion for teamwork, flexibility, and play an active role in shaping care.

Key Responsibilities
As a Theatre Nurse or Specialty ODP, you will:
- Work alongside leading professionals in your field
- Enjoy a diverse and engaging caseload
- Apply strong communication skills to support patients and teams
- Utilise state-of-the-art technology, equipment, and facilities
- Supervise, mentor, and develop junior members of your team
- Contribute to patient experiences that are clinically effective, evidence-based, and appropriate
About Nuffield Health Exeter Hospital
Located next to the RDE hospital on Wonford, Exeter, our facility features:
- Two operating theatres
- A hybrid cardiac catheter lab/theatre and endoscopy suite
- Two wards:
- Inpatient area with 21 beds
- Day-case ward (12 beds)
- Comprehensive services including:
- Pharmacy
- Physiotherapy
- Radiology (with an MRI scanner)
