About The Message Trust
The Message Trust is a worldwide movement passionately sharing the love of Jesus Christ with hard-to-reach young people and communities, using both words and actions.
We are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and pastoral worker to develop and deliver The Message Trust’s activities within prisons.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee projects and outreach events within prison settings
- Develop and run outreach courses, including Alpha and discipleship groups
- Lead structured detached outreach work within communities and prison settings
- Oversee and train volunteers, nurturing their commitment and pastoral care
- Build and maintain ongoing, positive relationships with incarcerated individuals and the Prison Service
- Represent The Message Trust professionally and strategically

About the Role & Expectations
This position is pastoral and mission-focused, with a commitment to discipleship, evangelism, and community transformation. The successful candidate must be able to:
- Engage effectively with offenders and prison staff
- Demonstrate a track record of pastoral care and spiritual leadership
- Work flexibly and respond well to the challenges of prison-based outreach

Applicant Requirements
All applicants must: 🇬🇧 Have been resident in the UK for at least 3 years.
