Offensive Security Analyst (Structured / Non-Exploit)
Offensive Security Analyst (Frontier AI Threat Reasoning)
About the Role
Could your in-depth knowledge of attack patterns—where defenses fall and how risk spreads—directly influence AI-powered security guidance used by millions? We need offensive security experts to leverage an adversarial mindset to train and evaluate cutting-edge AI models.
This is a structured threat reasoning role, not traditional exploit development. If you excel at attacking-minded analysis and clear technical communication, this is the perfect fit.
Role: Fully remote, flexible contract Commitment: 10–40 hours/week (self-paced) Organisation: Alignerr
What You’ll Do
- Analyze realistic attack paths, kill chains, and adversary tactics across modern systems (endpoints, networks, cloud, identity)
- Spot weaknesses, misconfigurations, and defensive gaps in production environments
- Evaluate red-team intrusion narratives for technical rigor, alignment with MITRE ATT&CK, and completeness
- Develop and validate adversarial reasoning datasets to train and test AI models
- Persuasively describe attack chains, blast radius, and risk trade-offs in structured written reports
- Work asynchronously with full schedule flexibility

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
