About the Role

The Governors of Redlands Primary School are seeking a full-time Office Administrator to support their vision of putting children first, delivering a high-quality administrative service to the school and the wider community.

The Office Administrator will provide essential clerical, financial, and organisational backing to the school’s operations. This varies yet fulfilling role demands a professional, motivated team player with:

  • Strong interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to learn.
  • High-level literacy, numeracy, and IT proficiency for accurate, secure handling of sensitive information.
  • The ability to prioritise tasks, work under pressure, and maintain discretion.

Hours

  • Monday to Thursday: 8.15 AM – 4.45 PM
  • Friday: 8.15 AM – 4.15 PM

Essential Requirements

✅ Professionalism & reliability with an ability to maintain confidentiality. ✅ Excellent administrative skills – including letter writing, record-keeping, and financial management. ✅ Confidence handling sensitive data and complying with safeguarding policies. ✅ Familiarity with Microsoft Office and school-specific software (training will be provided as needed). ✅ Good organisation and time-management to meet tight deadlines. ✅ Positive team player with the capacity to collaborate effectively with staff across departments.


Desirable Experience

🔹 Previous experience in a school, safeguarding, or childcare setting. 🔹 Familiarity with DBS checks, data protection (GDPR), or HR admin processes.
