- Hours: Monday to Thursday: 8:15am–4:45pm, Friday: 8:15am–4:15pm

About the Role
The Governors of Redlands Primary School are seeking a full-time Office Administrator to deliver high-quality administrative support while championing the school’s mission of putting children first.
The ideal candidate will provide clerical, administrative, financial and organisational support to the school. We are looking for a confident, professional, and motivated individual with excellent literacy, numeracy, and IT skills, who can prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
This role is well-suited to somebody with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, and a commitment to safeguarding. Experience in a school setting is preferred but not essential—full training will be provided. The school is seeking an individual who will engage warmly with all stakeholders while upholding high standards of discretion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide clerical and front-of-house administrative support to school leadership and staff
- Manage financial documentation, bookkeeping, and payroll-related tasks
- Process and confidential handling of sensitiveRecords, pupil data, and parental inquiries
- Coordinate school office operations, including correspondence, meetings, and event organisation
- Promote the school’s inclusive values by interacting professionally with all community members
- Ensure documentation is accurate, timely, and stored securely
- Liaise with external agencies when required, adhering to safeguarding policies

Requirements
Prior Experience & Skills
Essential Requirements: ✅ Strong communication and interpersonal skills ✅ Excellent admin, literacy and numeracy abilities ✅ Confidence in using administrative and IT systems (Microsoft Office 365, school databases) ✅ Ability to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines ✅ Accuracy and attention to detail when handling confidential敏感 information ✅ Willingness to learn quickly in a roles-across-multiple-functions environment
Important but Not Essential: 🔹 Previous school office experience (preferred)
