Office Administrator - Brighton, East Sussex
Salary: £25,000 - £29,000 per annum Type: Full Time Location: Brighton, East Sussex
About the Role Are you a highly organised administrator who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? We’re recruiting on behalf of an expanding organisation looking for a proactive professional to support the seamless management of equipment resources, supplier relationships, and operational administration.
This integral role will ensure operational teams have timely access to the tools and services they need while maintaining accurate records, cost controls, and operational efficiency. Ideally, you’ll enjoy coordination, data management, and providing timely solutions to multiple stakeholders—all within a busy team setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating equipment and resource requests: Work with operational teams to ensure requirements are met efficiently and within agreed timelines.
- Supplier management: Build strong relationships with external providers to secure commercial value and high-quality service.
- Reporting & insights: Produce regular operational reports and management information to inform planning and decision-making.
- Invoice processing: Collaborate with finance teams to process supplier invoices, identify discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
- Database & record maintenance: Keep accurate databases, records, and tracking systems up-to-date—ensuring reliability and accessibility.
- Support operational teams: Troubleshoot equipment/resource-related queries and deliver swift, effective solutions.
- Team contribution: Attend meetings, offer input on process improvements, and enhance operational effectiveness.
- General administrative support: Assist across the department with miscellaneous tasks as required.

- Has prior experience in administration, coordination, scheduling, or support-based roles.

- Is confident using spreadsheets, databases, and Microsoft Office applications.
