Legal and Health & Safety Office Manager

Overview

Our client is seeking a Legal and Health & Safety Office Manager to provide essential administrative support across their Legal and Health & Safety teams.

This is a full-time, fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027, based in London with hybrid working available.

This varied role offers the opportunity to support key business functions within a public sector organisation, helping ensure efficient administration, strong coordination, and effective day-to-day operations.

Salary: £30,292 – £32,200 per annum

Location: London, hybrid working

Contract: Full-time, fixed-term contract until 31 March 2027

Responsibilities

As Legal and Health & Safety Office Manager, you will:

  • Provide administrative and secretarial support to the Legal and Health & Safety teams
  • Support the smooth and efficient operation of key business functions
  • Coordinate documentation, correspondence, meetings, and team administration
  • Use Microsoft Word, Outlook, and other IT systems to manage information effectively
  • Help maintain organised records, processes, and workflows
  • Support colleagues across a range of legal, health and safety, and operational activities
  • Contribute to a professional, inclusive, and well-organised working environment

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

  • Previous administration or secretarial experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong experience using Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Good aptitude for using IT systems
  • Numeracy and analytical skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, with a tidy and systematic approach
  • A proactive mindset and the ability to use initiative
  • The ability to manage varied tasks and support multiple teams effectively
