Office Administrator
Job Type: Full-time, office-based (9:00am – 6:00pm)
Salary: £40,000 – £45,000
Our client, a reputable organisation within the shipping industry, is looking to appoint a professional and highly organised Office Administrator. This role is key to ensuring the efficient day-to-day running of the office, supporting business operations, and maintaining adherence to internal procedures. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple responsibilities with confidence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate all administrative functions to ensure smooth office operations and compliance with company policies.
- Manage the reception area, including greeting visitors, handling incoming calls, and managing correspondence.
- Monitor office supplies, place orders as needed, and manage supplier relationships and service agreements to ensure cost-effectiveness and continuity of services.
- Coordinate meetings, including scheduling, catering arrangements, travel bookings, and accommodation.
- Act as the main point of contact for health and safety matters, organising audits and liaising with building management.
- Support onboarding processes for new employees and interns.
- Process invoices using SAP and maintain accurate payment records.
- Serve as the primary contact for office maintenance, service requests, and IT-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- Manage subscriptions relevant to the business, ensuring accurate records and timely renewals on favourable terms.
