Administrator - Operations Team
Playground Games is looking for an Administrator to join our Operations team on a contract basis.

As a first-party Xbox Game Studio, we are passionate about making genre-defining games that are accessible, beautiful, and, most of all, fun.
About the role
As Administrator, you will be working closely with the wider Operations team, whilst being based front and centre on the reception desk. You will provide efficient reception, administrative and office support to the Studio. This role involves interacting with a variety of internal teams and disciplines, in addition to external visitors.
You will be ordering resources for a busy studio and be responsible for keeping everything well stocked, providing efficient administration for all areas of the business, and supporting the coordination of events and studio goings on. This fast-paced role means you’ll be involved in a number of operational support activities at any one time.
Our ideal candidate has excellent customer service skills, is resourceful and flexible, and excited to be a champion for Playground Games and everything we produce.
This is a 12-month contract role based across our two state-of-the-art facilities in Royal Leamington Spa.
This is a 12-month contract position and whilst this role involves working closely with our team, the position will be employed through our trusted agency partner.

What you’ll do
- Host a busy reception, including meeting and greeting visitors, arranging NDAs and visitor badges, answering phone calls and accepting deliveries.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the wider Admin and Operations team for the day-to-day running of the studios.
- Accurately log sickness, duvet day requests and medical appointments within an online holiday system.
- Lead responsibility for ordering and replenishing the studios’ food and drink offering, as well as ordering cleaning supplies and stationery.
- Assist with PG merchandise requests.
- Assist in the organisation and administration of PG events.
- Maintain the Games Library.
- Contribute content towards the internal PG newsletter each week.
- Provide administrative support to the Employee Resource Group’s.
- Act as First Aider and Mental Health First Aider (training to be provided).
- Performing other duties as required.
- Be an ambassador for Playground Games and everything we do.
What you’ll bring
- Professional attitude and ability to work in a confidential manner.
- Flexibility to be involved in several operational support activities at a time, in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience in a customer-facing role.
- Good working knowledge of MS Office inc Outlook, Excel, Word.
- A genuine passion for supporting the workplace and its team.
