Office Administrator
Administrator – Sulzer (Leeds)

We’re looking for a proactive, organised and people-focused Administrator who thrives on variety and isn’t afraid to take initiative. As a key point of contact—interface for visitors, customers and colleagues—you’ll embody a friendly, confident and approachable presence, excelling at building rapport at all organisational levels.
This is a fast-paced, hands-on role for someone who spots gaps, solves problems and keeps operations running seamlessly behind the scenes. Embedded in a supportive administrative team, you’ll collaborate across departments to deliver practical support, coordination and actionable ideas, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness throughout the business.
Responsibilities

Day-to-Day Operations Support
- Provide flexible administrative backing to teams, adapting to shifting business needs.
- Handle enquiries and problem-solving with minimal supervision.

Front-of-House & Customer experience
- Warmly greet visitors and manage all visitor logistical arrangements.
- Field incoming calls and resolve customer queries/complaints swiftly and professionally.

Meeting Facilitation & Business Coordination
- Oversee meeting room bookings and pre/post-event coordination.
- Manage key business systems (e.g., SAP, Concur, Egencia, Softworks) and generate accurate reports.

Site-Wide Communication & Wellbeing Initiatives
- Coordinate internal site communications and champion wellbeing initiatives.

Administrative Systems
- Process clock cards, SAP set-ups, post distribution, parking permit management for visitors.
- Maintain visitor records, permits and logistical workflows.

Health & Safety & Emergency Procedures
- Support emergency protocols and uphold a safe working environment.

Champion customer experience across all touchpoints—representing a collaborative, service-first administrative ethos.
Requirements
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills (available support, conflict resolution).
- Attention to detail paired with exceptional organisational abilities.
- Confidence working independently with initiative to resolve unplanned tasks.
- Flexibility to multitask in a fast-paced environment, where adaptability is key.
- Experience in administration/digital assistant roles (essential).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office packages.
