Role Description

The Office Administrator is a full-time, on-site role based in Bolton. This position is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the office by delivering efficient administrative support across multiple departments. The successful candidate will manage incoming communications, maintain organised office systems and records, coordinate schedules and meetings, and assist with financial administration, including invoicing and billing. The Office Administrator will also oversee office supplies and inventory, prepare reports and correspondence, support data management, and collaborate with colleagues to ensure a professional, organised, and productive working environment.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in an Office Administrator, Administrative Assistant, or similar office-based role within a professional environment.
  • Strong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with experience maintaining office records, filing systems, and administrative processes.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace, with strong computer and data entry skills.
  • Experience using QuickBooks for invoicing, billing, or financial administration is desirable; experience with Sage or similar accounting software is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with professional telephone etiquette and the ability to communicate confidently with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
  • Ability to prepare correspondence, reports, presentations, and other business documentation to a high standard.
  • Experience coordinating meetings, appointments, calendars, and office resources, ensuring the smooth running of daily operations.
  • Ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment.
  • Previous experience within healthcare, dental, or manufacturing environments would be beneficial but is not essential.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site in the Manchester Area with a professional, reliable, and proactive approach.
