Job Introduction

Office Administrator – Dental Laboratory

Location: Oral Ceramics Dental Laboratory, Crown House, 13 Wassage Way, Hampton Lovett, Droitwich WR9 0NX

We are looking for a proactive and hardworking Office Administrator to join our busy Dental Laboratory in Droitwich.

You will be responsible for the effective administration of the dental laboratory ensuring smooth flow of office procedures through to the laboratory. Supporting the office manager by carrying out office duties. Maintaining a positive and friendly company image by acting as the first line of contact to visitors, customers, online, and predominately via telephone.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Unpacking incoming dental impressions and booking these into our bespoke software package
  • Booking out completed laboratory work on bespoke software package and contacting our customer base for missing information or to adjust completion dates via email and telephone
  • Invoicing customers at end of month
  • Maintaining our recording database and bespoke software customer log
  • Diary management
  • Taking card payments
  • Liaising daily with drivers and couriers as requested
  • Managing incoming correspondence by answering phone calls and emails
  • Managing reception area and looking after visitors
  • Answering all incoming phone calls and either dealing with enquiries or transferring them as necessary
  • Maintaining stock lists and ordering office supplies as needed
  • Interacting with directors and carrying out their requests
  • Assisting the office team Leader with yearly compliance and renewals, maintenance logs, accounts functions, and any other tasks as required
  • Photocopying and filing appropriate documents as needed
