JOB DESCRIPTION

Hours of work: 21 hours per week

Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)

(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)

Office Administrator

Priory is a very successful school with an excellent reputation. The Governors of this successful school seek to appoint a temporary, part-time, Office Administrator to start in September. This role will provide reception duties and general administrative support to the school and to act as the first point of contact with parents, agencies, and all visitors to the school.

The key tasks include:

  • Reception duties, dealing with all callers both on the telephone and in person
  • Administrative support (based on reception)
  • Producing correspondence and reports from written documents and other sources
  • Maintaining all paper and electronic filing systems
  • Photocopying and scanning
  • Liaise with staff, parents, and external agencies
  • Accurately input data into computerized systems, databases, and spreadsheets

The term-time hours of work are 21 hours a week to be worked; Mondays and Thursdays, 13.15 to 16.00, Wednesdays, 08.00 to 16.00, and Tuesdays and Fridays, 12.00 to 16.00.

The actual yearly term-time salary is £12,349 to £12,544 (based on Single Status Grade 4, points 9 to 10, £25,185 to £25,583, working 39 weeks a year, 45.05 paid weeks)
