Camax UK Ltd, founded in 1983, is a specialist distributor of test and measurement instruments and represents leading suppliers and manufacturers of electricity meters and current transformers. The company provides a broad range of products including transducers, analogue and digital instruments, monitoring relays, electricity meters, power analysers, current transformers, and related accessories. Operating from Jubilee Court, Copgrove (Unit 8) in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, Camax serves customers across the UK & Europe.

The Office Administrator will also:

  • Provide customer service support
  • Liaise with suppliers and internal teams
  • Assist with basic data entry and reporting to keep workflows efficient and accurate

Qualifications

  • Strong Office Administration and Administrative Assistance skills to manage daily office operations and documentation.
  • Effective Communication and Customer Service skills to interact professionally with clients, suppliers, and colleagues.
  • Familiarity with Office Equipment and standard office software (e.g., email, word processing, spreadsheets).
  • Good organizational and time management abilities, with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Relevant experience in an administrative or office-based role is beneficial, ideally within a technical, engineering, or distribution environment.
  • Ability to work on-site in Harrogate, collaborate with a small team, and handle multiple tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Basic numeracy and data entry skills; experience with order processing or inventory systems is an advantage.
