Office and Administration Manager - Maternity Cover

We are recruiting for a maternity cover position for an Office and Administration Manager. This is a full-time, fixed-term role for approximately 12 months, starting around 17 August 2026. Part-time hours may be considered for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be based in our Glasgow office and will work as part of a team providing general office administration, management, and HR administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage general office operations, including overseeing the Admin Team and supporting them with tasks such as ISO and SMAS administration.
  • Provide administrative support across the Glasgow office, including Operations, Customer Care, Billing, Accounts, and Legal teams.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the office, acting as the main point of contact for any workplace-related issues.
  • Support the Director of HR and Governance with administrative duties, including recruitment processes such as posting job adverts, scheduling interviews, and preparing offer letters.
  • Liaise with landlords, cleaners, and maintenance suppliers, ensuring work is carried out and relevant internal stakeholders are kept informed.
  • Monitor and manage the office budget, including tracking expenditure and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
  • Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Plan and organise business events, including arranging travel and accommodation.
  • Undertake any other duties as required.

  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Experience in HR administration processes and systems is desirable but not essential.
