YVA Solicitors Office Assistant
YVA Solicitors is seeking a motivated and organised Office Assistant to support the smooth day-to-day running of our busy law firm in N12, North Finchley, London.
The successful candidate will provide administrative and office support across various departments, ensuring the efficient operation of the practice.
Key Responsibilities
- File incoming and outgoing correspondence.
- Scan and electronically file documents as required by fee earners.
- Maintain accurate paper and electronic filing systems.
- Archive closed files and ensure office areas remain organised and free from clutter.
- Photocopy, scan, and distribute documents as required.
- Assist with answering telephone calls, taking accurate messages, and following up where appropriate.
- Input case information accurately onto the firm's case management system.
- Welcome clients and visitors, providing a professional and courteous reception.
- Provide administrative support to different departments as required.
- Take post, recorded deliveries, and special deliveries to the Post Office.
- Provide reception cover during periods of absence or busy periods.
- Undertake other general office duties as required.

The successful candidate will be:
- Self-motivated and proactive.
- Well-organised with excellent time management skills.
- Highly accurate with excellent attention to detail.
- Professional, reliable, and able to work as part of a team.
- Confident communicating with clients and colleagues.

Essential
- Good standard of English
- GCSEs (or equivalent) preferred
- Ability to commute to North Finchley, London N12 8JT
- Previous customer service experience (especially answering phones)
- Previous administrative experience
Desirable
- Full UK driving licence
