About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to join our Virtual Healthcare Services and play a key role in transforming patient care through digital innovation. As a Virtual Healthcare Technician, you’ll empower patients to take control of their health by delivering high-quality remote support, education, and guidance.
Working 40 hours per week with shifts between 8am - 8pm, you’ll be at the heart of improving patient outcomes, enhancing adherence to treatment, and delivering a truly patient-centric experience — all from an office setting.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Delivering patient education and training via virtual platforms and telephone support
- Supporting patients to safely and confidently self-administer treatments, including injection techniques
- Conducting virtual consultations and follow-up interactions aligned to patient pathways and protocols
- Providing clear, compassionate communication to answer patient queries and address concerns
- Identifying any barriers to treatment adherence and escalating where appropriate
- Monitoring and reporting adverse events in line with clinical governance and pharmacovigilance requirements
- Maintaining accurate, timely patient records within electronic systems
- Signposting patients to additional support services where beneficial
- Collaborating with clinical teams and seeking guidance from qualified professionals when needed
Who We’re Looking For
You’ll be a caring and confident healthcare provider with a passion for making a meaningful impact on patients and their families.
You will need:
- Experience working in a healthcare setting and completion of the care certificate
- Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex or sensitive information clearly
- A patient-focused mindset with a passion for delivering excellent care and support
- Confidence working independently, with the ability to recognize when to seek guidance
- Good IT literacy, including Microsoft Office and digital systems
- An understanding of basic clinical procedures and healthcare practices (training will be provided)
- Resilience and adaptability in a fast-paced, virtual environment
