Job Details:

Working closely with the Manager, the Office Coordinator assists with the overall daily operations of Michael's House, a Child Advocacy Center. This position requires initiative and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. As the first point of contact for visitors, families, and community partners, the Office Coordinator serves as the public face of Michael's House while providing exceptional customer service and administrative support.

Department Specific Job Details:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist with the daily administrative operations of Michael's House, ensuring efficient office functions.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for visitors, families, community partners, and telephone inquiries, providing information about available services and resources.
  • Maintain the computerized case tracking system, ensuring accurate and current data entry.
  • Prepare monthly and other required statistical reports using case tracking data.
  • Create, maintain, and update databases and records as needed.
  • Coordinate, recruit, train, schedule, and supervise volunteers for Michael's House.
  • Order office supplies and materials needed for daily operations and special events.
  • Assist with maintaining the Michael’s House Budget and paying bills.
  • Represent Michael's House professionally within the community.
  • Participate in continuing education related to child advocacy, child abuse prevention, trauma-informed care, and other areas relevant to the position.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational, administrative, and time management skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with staff and community partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain confidential information.
  • Experience with database management and Microsoft Office or similar software.
  • Goal-oriented, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of child advocacy, child abuse response, or victim services is preferred.
