At OakNorth, we're on a mission to empower ambitious businesses and the communities they serve. Since 2015, we've lent over $21 billion across the UK and US, helped create more than 58,000 new homes and 36,000 new jobs, and supported hundreds of thousands of personal savers — all while driving economic growth in the markets we serve.
At OakNorth, we believe great businesses are built by great people — and great people deserve exceptional workplaces.
We're looking for an outstanding Office & Facilities Manager to take ownership of our office portfolio and create environments where our teams can do their best work every day. You'll be the driving force behind the workplace experience across OakNorth, ensuring our offices are safe, secure, compliant, operationally excellent, and a place people genuinely enjoy coming to.
You'll lead workplace operations across our London headquarters, Manchester office, and oversee our New York representative office through local partnerships. Reporting directly to the Chief People Officer, you'll play a highly visible role at the heart of the business, partnering with teams across OakNorth and influencing the daily experience of hundreds of employees and visitors.
We're looking for someone who takes enormous pride in creating brilliant workplaces, notices the details others miss, thrives on ownership, and brings energy, pace and a continuous-improvement mindset to everything they do.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
