Job Description

We’re looking for an organised, proactive Office & HR Assistant to help keep our London studio running smoothly and support the day-to-day administration of our global HR function. This is an entry-level opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, takes pride in the detail and wants to build a career in office operations, HR or the wider creative industry.

Who You Are

You’re proactive, trustworthy and exceptionally well-organised. You thrive on bringing calm and consistency to busy days and enjoy helping things run smoothly behind the scenes. You’re confident in your communication, respectful in your tone, and take pride in showing up professionally; whether you’re greeting guests or filing key documents. You ask questions early, take responsibility for your time and tasks, and follow through reliably.

Responsibilities

Office operations

You support the smooth daily running of the London studio – ensuring supplies, cleanliness, facilities and front-of-house all meet a high standard. You manage tasks with care and structure, from greeting guests and booking couriers to keeping shared spaces tidy and safe. You play a key part in how it feels to work at JDO.

HR admin & onboarding

You support our global HR function by helping post jobs, schedule interviews and welcome new joiners. You track probation check-ins, coordinate simple training tasks and keep our documents and HR system up to date. You help make the JDO experience organised, warm and human.

Team coordination

You liaise with providers, plan perks and support studio-wide events across teams. You build positive working relationships, follow clear processes and communicate in a professional, respectful and timely way, whether in person, via email or on behalf of others.

Leadership & mentoring

You model consistency, positivity and accountability, helping set the tone for studio energy and cross-team collaboration. You ask for support early, offer help where you can, and contribute to a healthy, helpful workplace. As you grow, you’ll support others by passing on clarity and knowledge.

Commercial acumen

You follow purchasing processes accurately and on time, keeping records organised and supporting financial visibility. You understand how small details contribute to overall efficiency and cost awareness.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

Experience

This is an entry-level role, so we’re looking for aptitude, attitude and a willingness to learn rather than a long list of previous experience. We would like to see:

  • Strong organisation and the ability to manage several tasks at once
  • Clear, professional written and verbal communication
  • A dependable, proactive and helpful approach
  • Good attention to detail and confidence using basic digital tools
  • Sound judgement and an understanding of the importance of confidentiality

Some experience in administration, customer service, hospitality, retail or another people-facing environment would be useful, but is not essential

LOCATION AND FLEXIBILITY

This role is based in our London studio and would be 5 days per week in the office, 9am to 6pm.

WHY WORK WITH US?

What makes JDO special is how we work together. We value conviction without ego, generosity without fuss and craft that holds up in the detail. You’ll be encouraged to bring your point of view, ask better questions, learn from talented people around you and keep developing your voice.

Our promise to you is a career that matters: one where your talent is recognised, your growth is supported and your individuality is celebrated. We want people to do brilliant work, but not by becoming someone they are not.

We’re proud to have been named Creativepool’s Best Agency to Work For in both 2024 and 2025. That recognition matters to us because it reflects the kind of place we are building: high standards, real collaboration and a team that shows up for each other.

Alongside a competitive salary, we offer benefits that support rest, wellbeing, creativity and life outside work, including Fri-yays, where our studios close on the last Friday of most months, a day off on your birthday, end-of-year studio closure, an Employee Assistance Programme and a workplace nursery scheme to help with the cost of childcare.

SOUNDS LIKE A FIT? LETS TALK.

If you’re organised, approachable and take pride in helping things run smoothly, we’d love to hear from you. You don’t need previous HR experience; we’re looking for someone dependable, curious and ready to learn.
