Office Manager - Financial Planning Firm

We're recruiting on behalf of a successful financial planning business seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the smooth day-to-day running of a busy office while supporting a collaborative team delivering exceptional service to clients.

This is a varied role combining office management, team coordination, client service, and operational support. You'll be the person who keeps everything running efficiently, ensuring colleagues have what they need to deliver an outstanding client experience.

The Role

As Office Manager, you'll take ownership of the daily operation of the office while supporting advisers, administrators, and the wider client services team.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the day-to-day operation of the office and ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • Acting as the first point of contact for office facilities, suppliers, and contractors
  • Coordinating office resources, equipment, and workplace readiness
  • Supporting client service and administration teams with operational processes
  • Overseeing the progress of client cases and ensuring work flows efficiently
  • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring regulatory documentation is completed
  • Supporting colleague onboarding and day-to-day team coordination
  • Helping foster a positive, collaborative office culture
  • Ensuring compliance with internal processes and FCA regulatory requirements
  • Providing administrative support across the business where required

About You

We're looking for someone who enjoys organising people and processes while delivering an exceptional level of service.

You'll ideally have:

  • Previous Office Manager, Practice Manager, or Operations experience
  • Experience within financial services, wealth management, or another regulated environment
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and relationship-building abilities
  • High attention to detail
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and CRM systems
  • The ability to prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • A proactive, positive, and solutions-focused approach
