Office Manager - Architecture, Design
Location: Oxford
Type: 12 month fixed term role
Salary: £45,000 - £60,000 (DOE) + excellent benefits package
Start date: ASAP – ideally August or start of September
Join a leading employee-owned architectural and design consultancy where you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation of two busy regional studios. Working closely with senior leadership, you'll drive operational excellence, support project delivery, lead administrative teams, and help create an engaging, high-performing studio environment.
For the Office Manager role, we're looking for candidates with experience in Office/ Studio management in a construction, design or architectural environment!
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the day-to-day operations of two regional studios, ensuring efficient processes, communication, and collaboration.
- Coordinate project reporting, resource planning, financial data, and operational performance with regional leadership.
- Manage and develop studio administration teams, supporting recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement.
- Oversee studio facilities, administration, compliance, health & safety, and business support activities.
- Drive operational improvements and maintain consistent standards across both studios.

Requirements
- Previous experience in a studio, operations, or regional management role within an architectural, design, or professional services environment.
- Proven people management experience with strong organisational, commercial, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with project management systems (such as CMap) and Microsoft Office, with confidence interpreting financial and project data.
