Office Manager
Based in Essex
6 month FTC
The Office Manager will be responsible for the day-to-day administration and operational coordination of the business, ensuring efficient office processes, excellent customer service, and effective communication between clients, tenants, engineers, subcontractors and suppliers. The successful candidate will work closely with the Directors and Contracts Manager while also being confident managing the office independently.

We're looking for someone who can become the backbone of our office—organised, dependable, proactive and capable of keeping a busy maintenance business running efficiently while supporting clients, tenants and engineers to the highest standard.
Key Responsibilities
Office & Operations
- Manage the day-to-day running of the office.
- Take responsibility for office management when Directors are unavailable.
- Develop and improve office procedures and administrative systems.
- Ensure accurate filing, record keeping and document management.
- Manage office supplies, equipment and general housekeeping.
- Support the mobilisation of new contracts and projects.

Client & Customer Service
- Act as a key point of contact for clients, tenants and subcontractors.
- Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls professionally.
- Respond to client enquiries and resolve issues promptly.
- Provide updates on ongoing works and scheduled appointments.
- Build strong working relationships with clients and stakeholders
