We are seeking an experienced and proactive Office Manager to lead business operations, finance administration and team support within a growing organisation in Northampton.
Salary: £45,000 - £50,000 per annum DOE
Location: Northampton, Northamptonshire
Hours: Full-time, Permanent, Monday to Friday, 9.00am - 5.30pm

About The Role
This is a pivotal leadership role offering the opportunity to oversee a broad range of business functions and contribute directly to the continued growth and success of a well-established organisation operating within the healthcare technology sector.
Reporting to the Managing Director, you will ensure the efficient day-to-day running of operational, administrative, financial and support functions, while leading and developing administrative teams across the business.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Managing company banking, supplier payments, expenses, invoicing and financial administration.
- Coordinating payroll processes and supporting financial reporting requirements.
- Overseeing stock control, inventory accuracy and warehouse operations.
- Managing office facilities, supplier contracts, vehicle administration and workplace compliance.
- Supporting Health & Safety, environmental reporting and quality accreditation activities.
- Administering HR processes including recruitment, onboarding, employee records and benefits.
- Leading, motivating and developing administrative team members.
- Overseeing sales order processing, reporting, pricing administration and customer communications.
- Producing service department performance reports and supporting warranty administration.
- Identifying opportunities to improve systems, processes and operational efficiency.

About You
We are looking for a highly organised and commercially aware professional who enjoys taking ownership and working across multiple business functions.
You will bring:
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Operations Manager or senior business support role.
- Strong financial administration and accounts experience.
- Experience using Sage or a similar ERP/accounting system.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience managing, coaching and developing staff.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise multiple tasks.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and communication skills.

Experience within healthcare, medical devices, manufacturing, engineering, distribution or other regulated environments would be advantageous, as would HR administration, stock management and compliance experience.
