Role overview

We're looking for a highly organised and proactive PA & Office Manager to support our two Co-Founders while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our new Archway office. This is a varied, fast-paced role for someone who enjoys juggling priorities, taking ownership, and creating a welcoming, efficient workplace that reflects the GoPlaces brand. The role is split approximately 60:40 between Office Management and PA responsibilities.

Core responsibilities

Office Management

  • Oversee the smooth day-to-day running of the office
  • Act as the first point of contact for office needs, suppliers, and facilities
  • Manage office improvement projects, including furniture, equipment installations, and workspace enhancements
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, deliveries, and general maintenance
  • Coordinate onboarding for new starters, including logistics, desk setup, and office inductions
  • Organise team meetings, events, and company socials
  • Welcome and assist visitors to the office
  • Create a welcoming, well-organised, and people-first workplace that reflects the GoPlaces brand

Personal Assistant to the Co-Founders

  • Proactively manage diaries, meetings, travel, and scheduling for both Co-Founders
  • Act as a trusted gatekeeper, prioritising requests and managing competing demands
  • Prepare meeting agendas, take notes, and track follow-up actions
  • Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
  • Manage expenses and ensure timely submission to Finance

Who you are

  • 3+ years' experience as a Personal Assistant and/or Office Manager, ideally supporting founders or C-suite executives
  • Highly personable and confident communicating with people at all levels
  • Exceptionally organised with excellent attention to detail
  • A natural multitasker, able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
  • Calm and effective under pressure, particularly when working to tight deadlines
  • Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate needs before they arise
  • Trustworthy, discreet, and professional
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
