UK Office Manager (Part-Time – 4 Days Per Week)
Location: Farringdon, London
Working Pattern: 4 days per week, with 3 days in the office (Tuesday–Thursday), c20 hours per week
Salary: c£50,000 + Benefits
Duration: 1 year Maternity contract to start from September
Our client, a leading creative agency, is looking for an experienced and proactive Office Manager to take ownership of their UK workplace and employee experience. Supporting a team of approximately 60 employees, you'll play a pivotal role in ensuring the office operates smoothly, remains compliant and safe, and continues to be an engaging place for employees, clients, and visitors.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-focused environment and enjoys balancing facilities, administration, events, and workplace culture.
What You'll Be Doing
Workplace & Facilities Management
- Act as the main point of contact for building management and cleaning providers.
- Coordinate office maintenance and resolve facilities-related issues efficiently.
- Ensure the office environment is welcoming, well-stocked, and operating smoothly.

Office Operations & Administration
- Manage inventory for kitchen supplies, snacks, stationery, and printer consumables.
- Process incoming and outgoing post, scanning, and general office administration.
- Coordinate supplier relationships and office purchases.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Serve as the designated First Aider and Health & Safety Officer.
- Maintain workplace safety standards, emergency procedures, and compliance records.
- Conduct Right-to-Work checks for all UK new starters and maintain associated documentation.
Events & Employee Engagement
- Plan and deliver a variety of employee engagement initiatives throughout the year.
- Organise company celebrations, including the end-of-year party, team socials, in-office activations, and DEIB events.
- Manage logistics for client meetings, agency roadshows, and team offsites, including catering, room setup, and hospitality.
Employee & Business Support
- Support contract processing and document administration via Dropbox Sign.
- Provide general operational and administrative support to employees and leadership teams.

About You
- Previous experience in an Office Manager, Workplace Experience, Facilities, or Operations role.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Experience coordinating events and creating engaging employee experiences.
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety requirements.
- Confident managing suppliers, facilities providers, and external stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, can-do attitude.
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership of office operations.
