Senior Manager – Office of the CFO | Manchester (Hybrid)

Ready to move beyond compliance and become a trusted adviser to ambitious businesses?

If you're an experienced ACA or ACCA-qualified finance professional looking for a role where you can influence business decisions, build lasting client relationships and help shape the future of a growing service line, this could be the opportunity you've been waiting for. We're working with a highly respected professional services firm that is investing heavily in its Office of the CFO offering. As the team continues to grow, they're looking to appoint a Senior Manager who can lead client relationships, develop people and play a key role in the future success of the Manchester office. This is far more than a traditional accounts role. You'll become a trusted adviser to a portfolio of businesses, working alongside Finance Directors, CFOs and business owners to provide strategic financial support, improve performance and help clients achieve their growth ambitions.

As a Senior Manager, you'll take ownership of a diverse portfolio of clients, leading the delivery of high-quality financial reporting while providing commercially focused advice that adds real value. You'll also play an important role in developing the team, mentoring future leaders and helping drive the continued growth of one of the firm's fastest-growing service lines.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
