Job Summary
A Permanent 15-hour/week opportunity exists for a Band 3 Administrative Supervisor to lead a team of nine administrative staff within the Antenatal, Neonatal Screening, and Anticoagulant Nurse Specialist departments.
Based primarily in the admin office, this role ensures efficient service delivery, supports clinical teams, and contributes to high standards of patient care. While the core hours are Tuesdays & Thursdays (09:00–17:00), minor flexibility may be negotiated based on service needs.

Key Responsibilities
- Supervise a team of nine administrative staff, ensuring smooth and efficient service delivery.
- Act as a deputy to the Admin Manager, covering annual leave and providing operational support.
- Support clinical and administrative teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Maintain accurate, confidential records and ensure compliance with Trust policies.
- Foster effective communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues.
- Contribute to a safe, efficient, and collaborative working environment.
- Execute delegated tasks aligned with NHS and organisational standards.
Requirements
- Education: Good standard of general education (GCSEs or equivalent).
- Experience: Prior workplace in healthcare or customer service (advantageous).
- Skills:
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic IT proficiency.
- Reliability, organisation, and flexibility.
- Personality: Proactive, empathetic, and dedicated to patient-centred care.

Organisation Details
- Salary: £25,760–£27,476 per annum (Band 3).
- Contract: Permanent, 15 hours (Tues/Thurs 09:00–17:00).
- Senior Staff Group: Administrative & Clerical.
