In this role, you will be responsible for:
- The day-to-day supervision of a team of nine administrative staff ensuring the smooth and effective running of the service
- Close collaboration with the Admin Manager, offering support and deputising when required (including covering annual leave)
- Providing essential administrative support to both the Anticoagulant Nurse Specialists and the Antenatal and Neonatal Screening Service, ensuring smooth operations that deliver high-quality patient care
The role is primarily office-based, with working hours of 09:00 – 17:00 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with some flexibility to be negotiated depending on service needs.
This position is ideal for an organised, proactive individual with strong communication skills who is comfortable supervising a team and contributing to a positive working environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to both clinical and administrative teams
- Assist in delivering patient care while adhering to Trust policies
- Maintain accurate and timely records
- Effective communication with patients, relatives, and colleagues
- Support the team in creating a safe and efficient working environment
- Undertake delegated tasks appropriate to this role

Qualifications & Requirements
- Good standard of general education (GCSE or equivalent)
- Previous experience in a healthcare or customer service environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Basic IT skills
- Reliable, flexible, and organised approach to work
