Do you want to play a pivotal role in powering the future by ensuring our offshore wind fleet remains operational and ready for the challenges of the sea? GE Vernova is looking for an exceptional Offshore SOV Readiness Manager to join our Renewable Wind Project Offshore Services team based in the UK.

GE Vernova - The Energy to Change the World

With over 130 years of experience and proven innovation, GE Vernova is leading a new era of energy. We are electrifying the world while working to decarbonize it. Our name reflects our mission. “GE” carries a legacy of quality and ingenuity. “Ver” signals Earth’s lush ecosystems, while “Nova” nods to a new era of lower-carbon energy we are helping to deliver. Focused on the future, GE Vernova is accelerating the shift to reliable, affordable, and sustainable energy. We help customers power economies and deliver electricity vital to health, safety, and quality of life.

Wind

Wind energy is essential to a low-carbon future. We design and build advanced Offshore and Onshore Wind technologies, as well as high-performing Wind Turbine Blades, to capture the power of nature and turn it into progress.

Let’s Talk about the Role

The Offshore SOV Readiness Manager will provide strategic oversight and operational management for all warehouse activities supporting our offshore windfarm fleet. You will act as the vital link between our onshore logistics and offshore vessel operations, designing the infrastructure and supply chain strategy that ensures our teams have exactly what they need, exactly when they need it. By meticulously managing spare parts, tools, and materials, you will directly influence our ability to maximize vessel uptime and operational readiness, all while fostering a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and high performance.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Designing warehouse infrastructure and implementing robust Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to govern the entire offshore material lifecycle.
  • Managing inventory levels proactively to prevent stockouts and ensure our fleet is always ready for operation.
  • Leading the implementation of 5S methodologies to create a safe, organized, and high-efficiency workspace.
  • Coordinating with planning teams to ensure tools and materials are correctly kitted and staged for seamless delivery to our Service Operation Vessels (SOVs).
  • Enforcing rigorous safety protocols to ensure all processes meet the highest HSE and maritime regulatory standards.
  • Mentoring your warehouse team, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and operational excellence.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
