Oliver Wyman - Team Assstant - Newcastle

The Opportunity:

The Team Assistant will provide high-quality, proactive administrative and business support to a small team of Senior Professionals/Directors. Acting as a trusted business partner, the role requires excellent judgement, strong organisation and the ability to represent Oliver Wyman professionally with internal and external stakeholders. The successful candidate will manage diary and meeting logistics, coordinate travel, support client development activity through CRM and deliver reliable team and office support.

This is a hybrid role (60% of the time working from the Oliver Wyman office in Newcastle).

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

(These responsibilities may flex to meet the needs of the business.)

Calendaring

Maintain diaries for senior professionals, scheduling internal and external meetings, communicating with clients and infrastructure staff as appropriate Proactively spot opportunities to add marginal internal meetings; interviews, staff meetings, etc

Travel Arrangement

Coordinate travel and accommodation, book cars, rail tickets, etc

Timesheet and Expense Reporting

Prepare weekly timesheets for each assigned senior professional Prepare all expense reports

CRM and Client Support

Maintain/update client contact database to ensure accuracy of information for firm use

Team Support

Provide coverage for assistants when out of the office to ensure seamless support to Directors/Partners Provide short-term coverage for Partners/Directors who may be in the midst of an EA assignment transition or who are new to the Firm Provide training and support to new assistants Participate in team meetings and projects with an eye to improving processes and the overall performance of the EA team Assist in the local office with minor office services tasks, maintaining a good work environment, as required.

Experience required:

At least one year experience working in an administrative or customer service position. Experience in financial services, management consultancy and/or a professional services environment a plus The successful candidate will likely support our Government & Public Institutions team. As part of this, any applicant that does not have it already should be open to being put through a UK Security Vetting (UKSV) process for SC-level security clearance.

Skills and Attributes:

Fluent in English. Technical Skills

Excellent Word, PowerPoint and Excel skills Expert knowledge of Outlook Knowledge of CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics), a plus but not necessary
