Omada IGA Engineer
Location: Warwick Duration: Contract (running until 25/12/2026) Arrangement: Hybrid (2–3 days onsite per week) Rate: Up to £460 p/d (Umbrella, inside IR35) Clearance Required: SC eligibility
Role Purpose / Summary
The Omada IGA Engineer is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Omada’s Identity Governance & Administration (IGA) platform, ensuring secure and compliant identity lifecycle management across enterprise and Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) systems.
The role covers:
- Access governance, provisioning, recertification, and audit compliance
- Alignment with regulatory standards (NIS, NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF))
Key Responsibilities
1. Platform Engineering & Configuration
- Configure and maintain Omada IGA platform, including:
- Roles, policies, workflows, and access models
- Identity lifecycle (Joiner / Mover / Leaver) processes
- Least-privilege and governance controls
- Ensure Omada governance using built-in features
2. Integration & Data Management
- Integrate Omada with:
- Authoritative sources (e.g., SAP SuccessFactors, ServiceNow)
- Target systems (e.g., Active Directory, SCADA, enterprise applications)
- Implement data ingestion via APIs, connectors, or file-based methods (e.g., CSV for air-gapped systems)

3. Role & Access Modelling
- Design and implement business roles and technical structures, mapping:
- AD groups/permissions into requestable business roles
- Access certification campaigns and segregation of duties (SoD) enforcement
4. Access Governance & Compliance
- Implement and manage:
- Access request workflows and approvals
- Periodic access reviews and recertification campaigns
- Least-privilege and SoD policy enforcement
- Ensure audit readiness through:
- Traceability of access decisions
- Evidentiary compliance for regulatory requirements
5. Identity Lifecycle Management
- Automate:
- Joiner/Movers/Leavers (JML) processes
- Account reconciliation and orphan detection
- Maintain identity correlation across systems and remediate unlinked accounts
6. Testing & Environment Support
- Support:
- Functional, integration, and performance testing
- Test data preparation and validation
- Maintain environment stability across Dev, Test, and Production
7. Operations & Support (BAU)
- Manage incidents, changes, and release deployments
- Monitor workflows, integrations, and data quality

8. Stakeholder & Delivery Collaboration
- Work closely with:
- IAM architects, security and engineering teams
- Business stakeholders and application owners
- Translate business requirements into technical IGA solutions
Key Skills & Experience
Technical Expertise
- Profound experience with Omada Identity Suite / Omada Identity Cloud, plus experience with:
- Other IGA platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Saviynt, D1M)
- In-depth knowledge of:
- Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)
- Identity lifecycle (Joiner/Mover/Leaver)
- Access certification, provisioning, and revocation
Integration & Systems Knowledge
- APIs (e.g., OData in Omada)
- Active Directory / Azure AD
- ServiceNow / HR systems
Regulatory & Compliance Domain
- Deep understanding of:
- NIS Regulations
- NCSC Cyber Assessment Framework (CAF)
- Audit and compliance requirements
