As an Omakase Chef de Partie, you will play an important role in delivering an intimate and seamless dining journey, supporting the senior culinary team in preparing and presenting precise, elegant, and thoughtful dishes while contributing to an exceptional guest experience.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or strong Demi Chef de Partie within a high-end Japanese, sushi, or Omakase restaurant.
  • Good understanding of Japanese cuisine, ingredients, techniques, and traditions, with a genuine passion for Omakase dining.
  • Excellent knife skills and a strong eye for precision, balance, and presentation.
  • Experience working in high-intensity kitchens with strong attention to detail and consistency.
  • Confident and calm approach in a live, open-kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the delivery of the Omakase service, ensuring each course is executed with precision, consistency, and care.
  • Prepare and present dishes with exceptional attention to detail, balance, and technique in an open-kitchen setting.
  • Handle premium seasonal ingredients with care, ensuring minimal waste and maximum flavour.
  • Maintain impeccable mise en place, cleanliness, and organisation at all times.
  • Uphold the highest standards of food hygiene, health, and safety throughout every service.
