About the Role
Join Rail Gourmet UK and take your first step towards an exciting career in travel and hospitality! We’re offering a Full-Time Permanent position as an On Board Host for East Midlands Trains (EMR) at Sheffield Station.
Position Details
- Hours: 40 hours per week (shift-based, varied between 6am and 10pm, including weekends)
- Pay Rate: £13.45 per hour, plus commission
- Location: Sheffield Station
- Qualifications Required: None—full training provided
Responsibilities
As an On Board Host at Rail Gourmet, you’ll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional onboard hospitality. Key duties include:
- Providing ‘at seat trolley service’ on EMR trains, ensuring seamless customer service while managing stock and transactions.
- Traveling onboard assigned trains, assisting passengers, hitting sales targets independently, and meeting contractual obligations.
- Accurately accounting for stock and transactions, complying with hygiene and safety regulations.
- Supporting management initiatives, adapting to multiple priorities and engaging with passengers.
- Performing Service Centre duties as required, including providing information, assisting travellers, and addressing diverse passenger needs.
