On Board Host
On-Board Host for TransPennine Express (TPE) at Carlisle Station
Role Overview
- Pay Rate: £13.65 per hour plus commission
- Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week)
- Shifts: Rotational shifts between 5:00 am and 11:00 pm, working flexibly on weekdays, weekends, bank holidays, and public holidays
Entry Requirements
- Age: Must be 18+ for certain tasks/shifts
- Experience: Prefer 2 years of customer-facing experience in Retail, Leisure, or Hospitality (training provided for all roles)
- Adaptability: Must thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with varied schedules

On Board Host Responsibilities
- Provide ‘at-seat trolley service’ on TransPennine Express (TPE) trains, delivering exceptional customer service
- Manage stock and transactions independently while exceeding sales targets
- Assist passengers, travelling on assigned trains during all shifts
- Ensure accurate stock accountability, compliance with hygiene/safety standards
- Support management with internal initiatives
