On-Site Electrician
Electrician – HMP Lindholme, Doncaster DN7 6EE
£30,866 – £36,135 + 15% weekend allowance
About the Role
We’re recruiting an on-site Electrician to join the facilities team at HMP Lindholme, a large Category D resettlement prison near Hatfield Woodhouse.
This is steady, long-term work on one secure site – no travelling required.
The Job
- Planned and reactive electrical maintenance
- Fault-finding, minor works, and like-for-like replacements
- Testing and inspections to BS7671
- Collaborating as part of an experienced on-site FM team

Hours
- Full-time (39 hours per week)
- Mon–Thu: 07:30–16:30 | Fri: 07:30–15:30
- Weekend duty: 1 in 3 weekends on a rota (+15% pay on weekends)
Requirements
- Level 2 Electrical qualification (17th Edition considered with upskilling opportunity)
- Maintenance experience with strong Health & Safety (H&S) awareness
- Security clearance and Standard DBS – fully supported by Amey
