£30,866 – £36,135 + 15% weekend allowance
39 hours per week | Permanent
We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Level 2 Electrician to join Amey at HMYOI Wetherby, working on a secure, long-term Ministry of Justice contract.
This is a site-based role, offering stability, structure, and consistent work within a supportive facilities team. Weekend working is 1 in 3 on a rota, with a 15% allowance.
The role
You’ll Be Responsible For
- Planned and preventative electrical maintenance
- Fault finding and minor electrical works
- Like-for-like replacements, testing, and inspections in line with BS7671
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and compliantly
- Supporting Health & Safety standards and safe systems of work

What we’re looking for
- Level 2 Electrical qualification
- 18th Edition (17th Edition considered with upskilling)
- Experience in electrical maintenance
- Good H&S awareness and ability to work independently
- Basic IT skills
Experience with fire alarms or CCTV is desirable but not essential.
